Job summary

Tarkett is looking for a Laborer specialized in the installation of running tracks and tennis courts in Fresno, California. The role encompasses various responsibilities including the preparation of surfaces, use of tools, and installation of polyurethane tracks, ensuring compliance with OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications

• Quick study and able to meet physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and preparation of asphalt/concrete surface to secure polyurethane track material.
• Use of small hand tools and power equipment in surface preparation and polyurethane installation.
• Carrying, mixing and pouring polyurethane to install track surface as required by OSHA safety standards.
• Recovery of excess rubber granules and edge detail trimming of track surface.
• General site cleanup and demobilization.

Laborer on installation of running tracks/Tennis Courts.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and preparation of asphalt/concrete surface to secure polyurethane track material (40% of time)
• Use of small hand tools and power equipment in surface preparation and polyurethane installation (20%)
• Carrying, mixing and pouring polyurethane to install track surface as required by OSHA safety standards (10%)
• Recovery of excess rubber granules and edge detail trimming of track surface (20%)
• General site cleanup and demobilization (10%)

Qualifications

2-3 years of field experience preferred but not required.

Quick study and able to meet physical demands.

Physical Demands

• Occasional jumping, climbing (1-33% of time)
• Standing, walking, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, squatting, crawling, kneeling, reaching, rotating, climbing constantly (34-66%)
• Twisting, turning, repetitive hand/wrist movements (67-100%)
• Lifting waist height up to 50 lbs (34-66% of time); carrying up to 50 lbs
• Hand function: simple grasping, gross grasping, fine manipulation
• Use of machinery or tools (e.g., forklift, hand tools such as drills/grinders)
• Environment: heat, uneven surface, outdoor – 10 hours per day
