At North Sky Communications, as a Laborer on our Telecom Underground team, you’ll participate in all phases of underground construction, including loading, delivery, digging, and equipment operation.

What you’ll do as a Laborer

• Safely operate and drive company vehicles to and from jobsites
• Perform construction tasks including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment
• Install underground telecommunications cabling
• Operate construction equipment and maintain work areas
• Clearly communicate with all team members
• Complete daily production reports
• Assist with site restoration efforts
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• Be at least 18 years old
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL A preferred)
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, background check, and driving record review
• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant experience
• Experience operating hand tools and utility trucks is preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote/confined spaces, operate heavy machinery, lift over 55 pounds, and perform physical tasks
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard, and mouse

Salary Range

$22 - $28 per hour (DOE)
