The Laborer will perform general labor duties related to telecommunications construction, including loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal, and placement of various materials and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Dig with hand tools and mechanical equipment
• Install and maintain underground telecommunications cabling
• Operate or work around heavy machinery
• Work in congested or remote areas
• Maintain safety and communication with team members
• Support construction activities under supervision
• Perform site restoration and mentoring roles

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant experience
• 3+ years in underground telecommunications or related field
• Valid driver’s license and clean record
• Ability to pass background and drug screening
• Willingness to work overtime, nights, weekends, and travel as needed
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various weather conditions

Additional Skills

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and equipment operation
• Ability to read utility maps and interpret technical documents
• Effective communication and leadership skills

Physical & Exposure Requirements

• Work alone in remote locations, operate machinery, lift heavy weights, and work in confined spaces

Compensation

Hourly wage ranges from $20.00 to $25.00, depending on experience.
