Overview and Essential Functions

Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference? Do you enjoy working outside in all kinds of weather? Then you may have found your next career move. We’re looking for Laborers to join our team and help connect America.

What you’ll do…
  1. You will work in all phases of underground construction including, but not limited to: loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal, and placement of various types, sizes, and weights of construction materials and equipment.
  2. You will hand dig using shovels and mechanical tools.
  3. You will install and maintain underground telecommunications cabling.
  4. You will climb into and out of equipment such as trucks, cars, backhoes, trenchers, etc.
  5. You will operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery.
  6. You will work in congested or remote areas.
  7. You will direct traffic flow in accordance with local DOT guidelines.
  8. You will perform general construction work under the direction of a Foreperson or Operator.
  9. You will maintain safe working habits and conditions according to all regulations, procedures, and policies.
Who we are looking for…
  1. You are at least 18 years old.
  2. You have a valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years driving experience.
  3. You are authorized to work in the United States for this company.
  4. You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  5. You are willing to work solo and in a team environment.
  6. You have experience working in all types of weather, including inclement weather.
  7. You are a self-starter.
  8. You have effective communication skills.
  9. You are able to travel and work extended hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
  10. You are able to lift, climb, and carry ladders with weights of up to 80 lbs.
