Lambert's Cable Splicing Co. is seeking a Laborer for our Telecom Underground team in Harleysville, PA. You will participate in all phases of underground construction, including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment to install underground telecommunications cabling.

At Lambert's Cable, as a Laborer on our Telecom Underground team, you’ll participate in all phases of underground construction, including loading, delivery, digging, and equipment operation.

What You’ll Do

• Perform construction tasks including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment
• Install underground telecommunications cabling
• Maintain work areas and keep them tidied up
• Communicate effectively with all team members
• Complete daily production reports
• Assist with site restoration efforts
• Work in all weather conditions
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Preferred experience safely operating various hand tools and utility trucks

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Must routinely work at heights, occasionally enter attics and crawl spaces, and sometimes be alone in remote locations
• Must be capable of operating vehicles and heavy machinery, squeezing in tight spaces, performing fine hand motions, bending, stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 55 pounds without assistance
• May occasionally use ladders, keyboards, and mice
