Job summary

Star Construction, LLC is seeking a Laborer for our Telecom Underground team in Tennessee. You’ll assist in all phases of underground construction, including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment, with a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities include installing underground telecommunications cabling, completing daily production reports, and helping with site restoration. Candidates should be 18+, have work authorization in the U.S., and a HS diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Previous experience safely operating various hand tools and utility trucks is preferred.

• Clearly communicate with all team members.

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work at heights, occasional entry into attics and crawl spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance.
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
