At C-2 Utility Contractors, as a Laborer on our Telecom Underground team, you’ll participate in all phases of underground construction as directed by the Foreman/Supervisor including but not limited to: loading, driving delivery, digging, removal, and placement of various types, sizes, and weights of materials to and from the job site along with various general laborer duties.

What You’ll Do As a Laborer

• Safely transport equipment and materials to various job sites
• Load, unload, and secure cargo according to DOT and company standards
• Perform construction tasks including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment
• Install underground telecommunications cabling
• Operate construction equipment and maintain work areas
• Communicate clearly with team members
• Complete daily production reports
• Assist with site restoration
• Work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• Be 18 years or older
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant experience
• Experience with hand tools and utility trucks preferred
• Valid driver’s license (Class A CDL preferred)

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Work alone in remote locations, in confined spaces, and operate heavy machinery
• Use ladder, lift over 55 pounds, and perform physical tasks

Salary Range

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
