TelCom Construction, LLC – Laborer (Telecom Underground)

Join our Telecom Underground team as a Laborer. You will participate in all phases of underground construction, including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment, and will install underground telecommunications cabling.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction tasks such as loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment.
• Install underground telecommunications cabling.
• Operate construction equipment and maintain work areas.
• Clearly communicate with all team members.
• Complete daily production reports.
• Help with site restoration efforts.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Have authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Possess a High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Previous experience safely operating various hand tools and utility trucks is preferred.

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely work at heights, occasionally enter attics and crawl spaces, work alone in remote locations, operate vehicles and heavy machinery; perform tasks that involve squeezing, fine hand motion, bending, stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 55 pounds without assistance.
• Occasionally use ladders, keyboards, and mice.
