Job summary

Star Construction LLC is seeking a Laborer to join our Telecom Underground team. You will participate in all phases of underground construction, including loading, delivery, digging, and equipment operation.

Responsibilities include installing underground cabling, operating equipment, and maintaining clean work areas while communicating clearly with the crew. You’ll complete daily production reports and assist with site restoration in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Previous experience safely operating various hand tools and utility trucks is preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.

• Install underground telecommunications cabling.

• Clearly communicate with all team members.

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work at heights, occasional entry into attics and crawl spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance.
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
