Job summary

CableCom, LLC is hiring a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an aerial crew in the installation and maintenance of fiber and telecom cables.

You will provide tools and materials, move equipment, and ensure safety and compliance on job sites. The role requires basic labor experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to become certified as needed. Benefits include weekly pay, PTO, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license (not Provisional) with clean driving record.
• Certified pole climber or willing to become certified.
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Complete door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities before work begins.
• Stock, clean, and maintain company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging and use mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow per local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and be on-call after hours as needed.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed
• Ensure that door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Certified pole climber or be willing to become certified
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level at heights, in confined spaces and in remote locations, climb stairs, bend, stoop, stand, walk and lift up to 55 pounds, operate vehicle & heavy machinery
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse

The wage range for Laborer Telecom Aerial is $23.00 - $25.00.
