Job summary

Future Infrastructure, LLC in Houston, TX is seeking a construction technician to perform general construction tasks under a foreman, including digging, transporting equipment, and installing underground telecom cabling.

You will work outside in diverse environments, operate trucks/equipment, and uphold safety while coordinating with crew and customers. Occasional travel is required, with a focus on teamwork and reliable communication across sites.

Qualifications

  • Climb into and out of equipment (cars, trucks, backhoes, trenchers, etc)
  • Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery
  • Knows and obeys all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Rules and Regulations
  • Repetitive motion with hand, wrist, feet, head, and shoulder
  • The ability to work outdoors in a diverse environment
  • Work in congested and remote areas
  • Work while standing or sitting for several hours at a time
  • Must be able to work in small/sometimes confined areas
  • Must be able to work in variable heights/depths
  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 75+ pounds
  • Reach, bend, stoop while performing work
  • Maintain visual and audible contact with other crewman and all moving or stationary persons/vehicles/objects to ensure safe coordination of movement
  • Willing to travel. This position requires occasional travel for out-of-town assignments.
