SALARY RANGE: $15.00 - $17.00

Sunrise FS is headquartered in Virginia, Illinois, with branches in Mason and Cass counties. Sunrise FS has about 200 employees (including seasonal workers) and approximately 2,500 customers. The cooperative operates in agronomy, energy, grain, tires, irrigation, and retail sectors. Sunrise FS is part of the GROWMARK System, serving over 100,000 customers across North America and Ontario, Canada.

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY

Enhance the company's image by performing maintenance on propane and fuel storage tanks and applying decals and lettering. Maintain a professional appearance through interactions in person and over the phone.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Clean, scrape, power wash, and prepare propane and fuel tanks for painting.
2. Prepare work areas to prevent spray drift or over-spraying.
3. Apply primer, paint, decals, and lettering to tanks following instructions and procedures.
4. Clean work areas and dispose of materials properly.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Drive company vehicle to customer locations.
2. Replenish supplies as needed.
3. Follow GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct, Environmental Health and Safety policies, OSHA, DOT, and other applicable procedures.
4. Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent with related experience demonstrating maintenance capabilities at customer sites.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Essential skills including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
• Exposure to dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with safety precautions.
• Willingness to participate in required training, including education on GROWMARK’s policies.
