Job Title: Groundman Laborer

Kilgore, a Summit Materials company, is seeking Groundman Laborers for our Aggregate division. In this role, you will support production operations by performing tasks necessary to maintain the smooth functioning of plant and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain good housekeeping practices on plant and equipment using water hoses and shovels
• Perform general labor duties such as shoveling and sweeping
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues to minimize costs and prevent delays
• Repair crushers, including liner changes, oil systems, and operations; monitor and replace worn parts
• Conduct basic preventative maintenance on plant equipment
• Cross-train with other positions to enhance versatility
• Follow verbal and written instructions accurately
• Possess a valid driver’s license; MSHA certification is preferred
