Responsibilities
  • Clean all areas of the workshop, service bays, outer storage buildings, trailer staging lot, and fence line (sweep, wipe down, remove trash).
  • Assist Shop Supervisors with daily operational tasks, such as guiding trailers into maintenance bays.
  • Support Trailer Technicians by retrieving repair parts, lifting/holding trailer parts, and cleaning service bays after repairs.
  • Assist Parts Supervisor with organizing repair parts, managing inventory, and removing packaging debris.
  • Drive company parts truck to off-site vendors for parts pickup.
  • Assist Front Office Supervisor with trailer staging and other tasks.
  • Help with snow removal during winter, including driving snow plow-equipped vehicles and shoveling.
  • Operate machinery like bobcat and payloader for snow removal, when trained.
  • Maintain machinery and heavy equipment (cleaning, fluid levels, tire pressure).
  • Manage storage, inventory, and safety of hazardous materials (training provided).
  • Be on-call to support daily operations across departments as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50-80 pounds.
  • Physical ability to perform lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, crouching, reaching, and handling tasks.
  • Willingness and ability to learn to operate heavy equipment (forklift, scissor lift, etc.).
