Responsibilities:

1. Report to and assist your immediate supervisor.
2. Perform quality work as per project specifications.
3. Be accountable for all tools and materials at the end of your shift.
4. Work well as part of a team.

General Requirements:

Functional Requirements:

• Measure distances from grade stakes.
• Drive stakes and stretch tight lines.
• Grade stacks from lumber for reuse.
• Level earth to specifications with shovels for pipe laying and excavation prep.
• Assist in setting up concrete forms, shoring, braces, and sealing pipe joints.
• Help set pumps and well-points.
• Assist heavy equipment operators and direct truck and scraper drivers.
• Work on concrete paving crews and operate small power tools.
• May serve as lead man and exercise independent judgment on routine tasks.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Some experience in industrial/construction/general labor.
• Pass pre-employment drug, alcohol, and physical evaluations.
• Complete New Hire Orientation Quiz.
• Must not pose a safety threat to self or others.
• Follow site safety requirements and wear appropriate PPE.

Physical Requirements:

• Pass physical exam and comply with drug policies.
• Climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work at heights or in confined spaces.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand or walk for extended periods on uneven surfaces.
• Work while wearing PPE, including respirators if required.

Work Environment:

• Located at industrial sites or fabrication shops.
• Challenges include uneven ground, confined spaces, extreme weather, noise, and potential chemical exposure.
