To perform various general or manual labor duties for the City of Little Rock.

Part-Time Custodial Worker I

Starting hourly rate $13.00. Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, meeting rooms, and public spaces; sweeping floors; dusting baseboards; cleaning windows; performing light custodial and housekeeping tasks; emptying wastebaskets and recycling bins; maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; notifying supervisors of supplies needed.

Part-Time Refuse Collector

Starting hourly rate $13.00. Tasks involve emptying trash containers, operating a sanitation truck, providing safety signals to drivers, and informing the public about refuse regulations.

Part-Time Street Laborer

Starting hourly rate $13.00. Duties include operating tools to maintain streets, repair areas, spread asphalt, load materials, and perform concrete work. Knowledge and skills are typically acquired through at least one year of manual labor experience or equivalent education and experience.

Additional Requirements

Pre-employment screenings may include criminal background checks, physical exams, and drug/alcohol testing. Some positions require operating a City vehicle and a valid Arkansas Driver's License.
