Performs various manual tasks as a general laborer toassistin unloading railcars andupkeepof rail terminal facility. Fosters teamwork,positivework environment and overall safety of self and others.

Follow directions of Lead Rail or Area Manager as to daily tasks and expectations for each terminal site.
Utilize shovels, brooms, and hand tools to unload railcars andmaintainterminalsite.
Utilize lawnmower, weedeater, and other landscaping tools/equipment tomaintainfacility.
Utilize hand tools and equipment to perform preventative maintenance on terminal equipment and machinery.
May be asked tooperateheavy equipment and/or company vehicles with proper training and/or certification.
Enroll in and complete CYD’s Conductor Certification program to achieve Rail Specialist Certification toassistin train movements.
Sets the example by following & promoting all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
Must be able to communicate effectively with subordinates,peersand superiors.
Must be able tomaintaina acceptable attendance record in a flexible work schedule.
Mustmaintainat all timesa strictadherence to safety requirements and procedures.
Must be available to travel and work from other company facilities as needed.
Mustpossessa professional attitude while interacting with peers,contractorsandthegeneralpublic.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily according to Conrad Yelvington Distributors guidelines and standards.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal backgroundcheckand driving record review.
Must be willing to work flexiblescheduleincluding:nights,weekendsand holidays when necessary.
Must be legally authorized to work in The United States.
Mustdemonstratea strong commitment to safety .
Regular andtimelyattendance isrequired.
Valid Driver’s License preferred.
High school diploma or GED is preferred.
Related experience, including construction or other physical labor, is preferred.
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Ability to use basic hand tools.
