Responsibilities:

As the Transportation Engineering and Maintenance Services Laborer, you will perform planned maintenance, support other crafts, and ensure that Attractions, shops, and Backstage areas are clean and operational. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining Attractions, waterways, railroad tracks, ties, switches, and gravel ballast.

Material Handling:
  • Deploy sandbags, water pumps, hoses, and fans for flood control, waterway projects, and water leaks
  • Deliver and move tables and chairs for events
  • Support painting efforts with barricades
  • Transport items to Property Control and Lost and Found
  • Flip Attraction boats during projects
  • Move furniture and equipment as needed
  • Handle 3D glasses for Attractions
  • Empty waste bins
Park Maintenance and Cleaning:
  • Maintain water levels
  • Lubricate Main Street streetcar track
  • Clean waterways, flumes, and drink carts
  • Spread decomposed granite
  • Clean automotive bays and pits
  • Assist Park Operations and Maintenance teams
  • Environmental clean-up
  • Use Maximo system for work instructions
  • Respond to radio calls
  • Manage equipment reservations and inventory
Attraction Responsibilities:
  • Clean waterways, flume, pond, track, and ride paths
  • Assist other trades as needed
  • Perform scheduled maintenance
  • Replace railroad track components and maintain track profile
Basic Qualifications:
Technical Abilities:
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Operate forklifts and company vehicles safely
  • Use dollies, pallet jacks, and floor scrubbers

Must have experience and skills to perform the listed responsibilities.

Schedule Availability:
  • Open to any shift (1st, 2nd, 3rd), including holidays and flexible days off
Additional Information:

Annual training and medical evaluations are required, including Hearing Conservation, Respiratory Protection, Lead Awareness, and blood tests.

Schedule Details:

Operations are 24/7; shifts may start as early as 5:00 AM or end as late as 5:00 AM.
