The U.S. Air Force is seeking a full-time position at the Moose Run Golf Course and Hillberg Ski Area. This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Moose Run Golf Course on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK, and Hillberg Ski Area.
This is a Full-Time position, guaranteeing a minimum of 35 hours and a maximum of 40 hours per week.
The role involves operating snow-making equipment, positioning snow guns, ensuring safety measures, and maintaining equipment. It includes operating various vehicles and machinery, conducting inspections and minor repairs, and supporting ski operations and grounds maintenance. Responsibilities also encompass ensuring safety, assisting patrons, maintaining cleanliness, and performing labor tasks related to golf course groundskeeping.
Open to all applicants, with categories including Business Based Action, Military Spouse Preference, and others. Experience in using trade tools, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working outdoors is required. Preferred skills include operating snowmaking and heavy machinery, with knowledge of the ski industry being advantageous. A valid State Driver's license and successful completion of a background check are mandatory.
