We are seeking a reliable and dedicated individual responsible for lifting, loading, organizing, and provisioning ships with supplies and equipment in the Norfolk area. The role involves working closely with the provisioning team to ensure efficient operations.

Our Laborer position participates in the Ability One program, supporting individuals with significant disabilities in government-contracted roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading provisions onto naval ships
• Accurately count and record all incoming and outgoing items
• Sort, organize, and label supplies in storage areas
• Pack and secure supplies for transportation
• Prepare and verify orders against shipping documentation
• Conduct inventory checks and assist with stock management
• Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members and management for smooth operations
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience as a laborer or similar role is a plus
