Job summary

IFS InfraSource in Lorton, VA is seeking Laborers to join our team. You will work with a crew to safely complete underground utility construction projects in outdoor environments.

Duties include loading materials, using hand tools, preparing equipment, securing sites, and assisting with reports and safety documentation. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors across Washington DC and Virginia operations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, kneel, crawl, climb and reach.

Responsibilities

• Load or assist with loading materials or equipment.
• Utilize hand tools to dig near existing underground utilities.
• Prepare pre-trip equipment prior to mobilizing to job site.
• Assist in securing work site, equipment, and materials at the end of each shift.
• Prepare documents, reports, or job aids related to work, equipment, and safety.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

About this Role

IFS InfraSource are seeking Laborers to join our team based out of Lorton, VA. This position has the potential to support both Washington, DC and Virginia operations.

Laborers are an integral part of our crew at IFS InfraSource. You will work with a team to safely complete underground utility construction projects. Duties for a laborer can be physically demanding and require working in an outdoor construction setting.

What You'll Do

• Load or assist with loading materials or equipment
• Utilize hand tools to dig near existing underground utilities
• Prepare pre-trip equipment prior to mobilizing to job site
• Assist in securing work site, equipment, and materials at the end of each shift
• Prepare documents, reports, or job aids related to work, equipment, and safety
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

What You'll Bring
