Job description

Laborer Journeyman

Summary

Mortenson is currently seeking a Laborer Journeyman.

Responsibilities

1. Load and unload equipment.
2. Erect and dismantle scaffolding (5x7x16) and staging.
3. Level ground for scaffolding.
4. Tend mortar and grout.
5. Lift, unload, move, set, shovel mortar and grout between wheelbarrows and buckets.
6. Perform general cleanup and clearing of debris, including sweeping, cleaning, washing, and unloading or burning debris.
7. Place, push, pull, and shovel concrete.
8. Vibrate concrete.
9. Provide work direction and guidance to Laborer I, II, Helpers, and Apprentices.
10. Effectively work and build relationships with individuals of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
11. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Repetitive hand, arm, and leg movements.
• *Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs. (assistance provided for over 50 lbs.).
• Please note: duties may change without notice.

The base pay range for this role is $27.30 per hour.

*Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling over 50 lbs will be done with assistance of another team member or equipment.
