Position Summary

Assist skilled craft workers in performing their duties. Tasks require physical labor at construction sites, and the ability to perform a variety of duties is essential.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Assist craftsmen in setting up work as required.
2. Follow instructions from superintendents, foremen, and experienced crew members.
3. Prioritize safety in all duties.
4. Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
5. Understand and follow warning signs, equipment instructions, safety rules, and policies.
6. Observe equipment functioning to identify hazards.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with relevant experience.
2. Strong knowledge, skills, and abilities related to the role.
3. Ability to understand, follow, and communicate instructions effectively.
4. Proficient in using electrical, hand, power, and measurement tools safely and efficiently.

Requirements:

3. Work irregular hours, including weekends, overtime, and holidays.
4. Climb ladders, scaffolds, and mechanical platforms, and maintain balance.
5. Work in confined, cluttered, or uneven spaces.
6. Handle items weighing up to 50 pounds.
7. Possess required tools and valid driver’s license if needed.
8. Comply with safety and project rules, and pass drug and alcohol testing.
