Job summary

Alpha Insulation & Waterproofing, part of the IBP family, seeks laborers to assist with insulation and waterproofing installation on outdoor job sites in Tempe, AZ. You will load materials, prepare work areas, and support skilled trades while following safety protocols.

This role requires physical endurance, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfort working in varying weather. OSHA 10/30 is a plus; training can be provided.

Qualifications

• Previous construction or labor experience preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the trade.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, crouch, and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus (can be provided).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of insulation, waterproofing materials, firestop systems, expansion joints, and restoration products
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
• Prepare and clean work areas before and after jobs
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times
• Support skilled trades workers with measurements, mixing materials, and applying coatings
• Perform demolition and debris removal when required
• Assist with scaffolding setup, lifts, and access equipment under supervision
• Maintain job site cleanliness and organization
• Follow directions from supervisors and work cooperatively with team members
