Job summary

Henkels & McCoy is seeking a field-based utility construction worker who will travel daily to job sites mostly in Pennsylvania. The role includes assisting crew members with various tasks such as setting poles, placing cable, and performing general maintenance on company equipment.

Candidates must be able to lift heavy objects, wear personal safety equipment, and possess a valid driver's license. Labor experience in utilities is preferred but not required.

The position may also require overtime on weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, reach, dig and carry heavy objects; with frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and infrequent lifting of up to 100 pounds.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Pre-Employment Drug Testing.

Job Summary:

Responsibilities

• Broom/Shovel/Flagging work assisting crew in underground or aerial utility construction.
• Assist crew members in setting poles, placing strand, cable and removing poles.
• Monitor and maintain condition of company equipment.
• Participate in daily job briefing and safety meetings.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, reach, dig and carry heavy objects; with frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and infrequent lifting of up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to wear all required personal safety equipment.
• A valid drivers license is required.
• Pre-Employment Drug Testing.
• Must be available for overtime weekday and/or weekend.
• Labor experience in utilities, preferred but not required.
