Tessera is seeking a responsible Laborer II to join our team in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This full-time position primarily involves assisting skilled craftsmen by providing tools and materials, as well as performing various maintenance tasks in diverse weather conditions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in facilities maintenance and the ability to multitask effectively. The role includes responsibilities like operating hand tools, cleaning, and safely handling materials.

Qualifications

• 6 months of facilities maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask throughout the day required.
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions, on steep inclines, and move on and off ladders required.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled trade craftsmen by holding objects and supplying tools.
• Install fastening hardware, such as nuts, bolts, and washers.
• Operate hand tools to perform simple tasks of trade.
• Clean up after tasks by sweeping and removing debris.
• Manually remove paint from fasteners or structures.
