Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Laborer for our Operations team on a project in Sparks, NV. This full‑time position focuses on site preparation and support tasks crucial to daily construction activities.

Responsibilities include assisting safety and carpenters, moving materials, and helping with deliveries. The role requires physical ability, safety awareness, and reliable performance on site.

Qualifications

• Possess 1 year of construction experience.
• Safety awareness and general construction knowledge.
• Provide primary support to our field supervision.
• Able to use critical thinking to solve issues on the worksite.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must be agile/mobile, stand or walk for long periods, and use hands to handle objects.
• Read/write and can see/hear well with or without correction.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials weighing 50–100 lbs., 75% of the time.

About The Role

We are looking for a Laborer to join our Operations team on our project in Sparks, NV. This is a full‑time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and preparing the worksite.
• Assisting safety team.
• Handling and moving jobsite materials.
• Assisting carpenters with any projects.
• Help with loading and unloading of deliveries.

Qualifications

Required:

• Possess 1-year of construction experience.
• Understanding of safety and general construction knowledge.
• Provide primary support to our field supervision.
• Be able to use critical thinking to solve issues on the worksite.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.
• Work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, and can see & hear well either naturally or with correction.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.

Preferred

• Individuals must be able to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment.
• Must be able to work outside.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.
• Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
