Job Description Summary

This role involves working on the Mashed processing deck, assisting the Mashed Operator with the safe operation of equipment and sanitation of the area.

Position: Laborer Heavy Mash Processing - Grave

Location: Richland, WA

Responsibilities include:

• Participate in all safety programs, actively engaging in safety activities, performing risk assessments, and reporting incidents and concerns.
• Understand the basic operation of mash process equipment and be able to start, stop, and clear stoppages for various systems.
• Follow lock out/tag out procedures and wear all required PPE.
• Monitor and maintain daily usage records and levels of ingredients.
• Relieve packaging staff during breaks and lunches.
• Participate in weekly mash line cleanups and ensure sanitation standards.
• Check and adjust SAPP concentration every 2 hours.
• Maintain communication with team members and keep the work area clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

• Sanitation qualified.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Language Skills

Effective communication in English, both verbal and written.

Work Environment

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet/humid conditions, high places, fumes, chemicals, and noise exceeding 85 dB.
