Spiniello Companies is seeking hardworking Laborers to join our specialty field crews performing critical pipeline rehabilitation and underground utility work in Maryland. You will support day-to-day construction activities, including excavation, material handling, site preparation, and equipment set-up, while working alongside experienced crews on active jobsites.

The role offers a starting rate of $36/hour, depending on experience, with a hands-on opportunity to build a career in specialty

Qualifications

  • CDL Class B or A with Tanker endorsement is required.
  • OSHA 10 certification is required.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs. or more).
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and in confined spaces.
  • Must be willing to travel for extended periods (one month or longer, if required).

Responsibilities

  • Assist with excavation and digging of trenches; load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Prepare construction sites, including clearing debris, and perform demolition tasks as required.
  • Clean and maintain the worksite, ensuring it is free from hazards; set up and remove scaffolding, ladders, and barricades.
  • Assist with the installation of materials and help measure, cut, and shape materials as directed.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate safety gear at all times; report hazards or concerns to supervisors.
  • Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools; help transport and set up heavy equipment under supervision.
  • Assist with moving materials between job site locations and perform other labor tasks to support project timelines.

In this role, you will support day-to-day construction activities, including excavation, material handling, site preparation, and equipment set-up, while working alongside experienced crews on active jobsites.

Qualifications
Required
  • CDL Class B or Class A with Tanker endorsement, minimum.
  • OSHA 10 certification, minimum.
  • Must be willing to work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs. or more).
  • Ability to kneel, squat, climb, and work in confined spaces; comfortable in dusty, noisy, and potentially hazardous environments.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including exposure to loud noise and dust.
  • Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Must be willing to travel for extended periods (one month or longer, if required).
Preferred
  • Haz Mat endorsement.
  • Prior CIPP (cured-in-place pipe) experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge of construction safety practices.
