Job Summary

JCC is looking for a laborer with equipment operating experience for our heavy civil construction project in Oakland, TN.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Operate pneumatic and electrical tools, concrete vibrators, compactors, concrete saws, cut-off saws, jackhammers, and heavy equipment.
2. Dig, spread, and level dirt and gravel using a pick and shovel.
3. Lift, carry, and hold building materials, tools, and supplies.
4. Clean tools, equipment, and work areas.
5. Mix, pour, and spread concrete, asphalt, gravel, and other materials using hand tools.
6. Join, wrap, seal, and bed sections of underground pipe and pipe penetrations.
7. Must be able to understand verbal instructions.
8. Experience in operating heavy equipment such as trackhoes, backhoes, loaders, or excavators is a plus.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of experience on a construction jobsite.
• Ability to understand verbal instructions.
