Job summary

Lamb Weston Twin Falls plant is hiring for a Night shift (C Shift) position. You will break down empty totes, hand stack cases on pallets, and assist cold room personnel while following safety and sanitation protocols.

The role requires forklift experience, basic math, and ability to work in a noisy, cold environment. Training and certification requirements are specified; first shift placement may vary by location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Lock-out/Tag-out, Forklift, and Sanitation certifications required; training provided if not qualified.

Responsibilities

• Breaks down totes and stacks cases according to specs.
• Operate controls to dump totes into hoppers.

Job Description Summary

This position breaks down empty totes, separating the good and bad totes, hand stacks cases on the pallets according to customer specifications, and assists the cold room personnel with breaks and lunches. Position is for C Shift on Nights.

Job Description

• Builds, fills, stages, and capstotes in the cold room.
• Reportson any safety, quality, and sanitation regulation issues.
• Inspectsmaterials, products, and equipment to detect defects and malfunctions.
• Maintainsgood housekeeping ofworkarea.
• EnsuresCase Erector staging area is full at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness ofworkarea.
• Operatescontrols to dump totes of product into hoppers.
• Participatesin safety huddles.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

Education/ Certifications: (Required & Preferred)

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Lock-out/Tag-out, Forklift, and Sanitation certification arerequired. If you are not qualified, you will be trained and must meet certification requirements.

Skills And Experience

• Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing. Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English, both written and oral. (Requirementmay vary by location).
• Experience driving forklift in warehouse or manufacturing establishment preferred.
• Must be able to be qualified withintime framesestablishedbyfacility.
• Ability to perform basic math functions,required.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer operation knowledge, data entry skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

Physical Environment/Demands

• Ability tolift upto 50 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turnfrequently.
• Exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hottocold in temperature
• Exposure to manufacturing environments for up to12hours perwork dayto include: loud noise, excessive heat, cold, wet, slippery conditions, dirt, fumes, smoke,smellsand allergies
• Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movementsrequiredfor job actions and procedures.
• Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment.
• Requires manual dexterity, overallcoordinationand good balance to work both at ground level and inhigh places to perform job duties. Ability tooperatework related equipment
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Exposed to temperatures ranging from -20 degrees below zero to 35 degrees Fahrenheit in Freezer Operation and 37 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Plant Operation
• Climbing to various heights via stairs or ladders on a regular basic
