Aerial Telecom Laborers (Groundmen) will handle projects of various complexity and perform site work on new business projects within our Telecom Construction division. This is also a great opportunity to be part of the initial team establishing Team Fishel as a leader in the utility construction industry in Eastern Ohio as we grow.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of an overhead telecom crew
• Load, unload, layout, and prepare tools, supplies, equipment, and materials needed at each job site
• Assist in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the Lineman, Foreman, or Supervisor
• Perform physically demanding construction duties

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A is strongly desired
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively
• Physical ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig, and reach
• Ability to climb ladders
• Willingness to travel
• Capability to perform strenuous physical labor under all conditions
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the last 3 years
• Basic tools required, such as climbing tools (belt and gaffs), basic hand tools, etc.
• Commitment to working safely
• Pass pre-employment drug screening

Bilingual skills and prior construction experience are highly desirable. Team Fishel provides on-the-job safety training, including flagging certification, tool operation, and maintenance.
