Sunrise FS is headquartered in Virginia, Illinois, with branches in Mason and Cass counties. Sunrise FS has about 200 employees (including seasonal workers) and approximately 2,500 customers. The cooperative operates in agronomy, energy, grain, tires, irrigation, and retail. Sunrise FS is part of the GROWMARK System, serving over 100,000 customers across North America and Ontario, Canada.

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

The purpose of this position is to assist in daily operational duties at the facility.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Assist with operations at the retail supply location.
2. Follow maintenance schedule of facility and equipment.
3. Assist with inventory and distribution of products.
4. Drive and deliver miscellaneous products as requested.
5. Stock and move warehouse product and material.
6. Assist both full-time and part-time operations personnel.
7. Maintain the facility, equipment, and company image.
8. Assist in achieving goals by improving efficiency and reducing costs.
9. Work with the location manager on safety and compliance issues.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Follow GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct, Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT policies.
2. Demonstrate the FS Way Standards: Trust, Responsiveness, Excellence, Expertise, Solution Focused.
3. May be required to drive and run local errands.
4. Perform all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrate business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.
• Ability to work extended hours as needed.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Willing to obtain and maintain a forklift certificate and CDL.
• Occasionally exposed to extreme weather conditions, dust, fumes, chemicals, electrical hazards.
• May need to work at varying heights and move up to 100 pounds.
• Willing to participate in required training related to the position.
