Job summary

Structis is seeking construction laborers to support the installation of gypsum and concrete-based products on diverse projects across the New England area. You will work on multi-temperature environments, cutting, tapping, and laying acoustical floor mats, and assisting with gypcrete pouring.

Qualifications

• Must know basic hand tools.
• Basic knowledge of reading a tape measure.
• Hard-working and goal-oriented.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to drive to various project sites.
• Able to multi-task.
• Comfortable in multi-temperature environments.
• Able to lift/carry/push/pull up to 80 lbs repeatedly.
• Construction experience a plus.
• Experience on concrete crew a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the install of gypsum and concrete based products.
• Cut, tap, and lay acoustical floor mat.
• Open bags of gypcrete and pour into mixer.
• Set up hose for pouring and connect to mixer.
• Operate bobcat to move sand into mixer.
• Finish poured Gypcrete floor.
• Carry supplies onto job site.
• Pick up or deliver supplies as needed.
• Assist other crew members as necessary.
• Use small tools and perform basic equipment repair.

Primary Objective

Our construction laborers support the install of gypsum and concrete based products.

• Cutting, tapping and laying of acoustical floor mat.
• Breaking open bags of gypcrete and pouring them into a mixer.
• Setting up the hose for pouring and connecting to the mixer.
• Operating a bobcat to move sand into the mixer.
• Finish the poured Gypcrete floor.
• Carrying supplies onto a job site.
• Pick up or deliver supplies as needed.
• Assist other crew members as necessary.
• Use small tools and perform basic equipment repair.
