Overview
Position Summary: Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of the electrical systems at jobsites while maintain a clean, safe, and efficient construction site and supporting the overall project.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures
- Complete all required Safety documentation
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Lift, carry and hold building materials, tools and supplies
- Support in the assembly of electrical components and equipment
- Assist with routine maintenance and repairs
- Provide assistance on the site as needed
- Prepare and maintain work sites, including the handling of materials and tools
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored
- May be required to travel to different jobsites on limited notice
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Requirements
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent(GED) or one to three months of related experience in construction and/or training or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred
- Prior experience in electrical or construction labor is preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Take reasonable care of you own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward the company’s Zero Injury principles
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
- Be able to work within precise standards of accuracy and follow set procedures and standards
Working Environment
- Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions
- Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; and extreme heat
- Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration
- Noise level in the work environment is usually loud
