OVERVIEW

Archer Western Construction is currently seeking a Common Laborer for the TARP Targeted PFAS Treatment, in Tucson, AZ.

The Common Laborer will perform tasks involving physical labor on construction jobsites including commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects; may operate hand and/or power tools as needed; may prepare site and assist with other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Ability to perform tasks including physical labor as instructed by supervisor
  2. Ability to work with crew members and operate a variety of hand and power tools including drills, hammers, and other tools as directed by management
  3. Clean and prepare construction sites as needed, including erecting scaffolding, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials, and digging trenches
  4. Load and unload construction supplies around the worksite manually and with the use of equipment

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. 1 Year Verifiable Experience Preferred
  2. Requires ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder
  3. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions
  4. Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
  5. Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
  6. Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods
  7. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
