Lavoro USA is seeking dependable individuals to join our roofing crew as a helper. You will assist experienced roofers with material handling, equipment setup, and site cleanup, while following safety protocols and proper lifting techniques.

This role emphasizes hands-on learning in a fast-paced construction environment, requiring physical fitness, reliability, and a teamwork mindset. Prior roofing experience is a plus, but willingness to learn matters most.

JOB PURPOSE

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist Roofing Crew: Work alongside experienced roofers to assist with various tasks, including material handling, equipment setup, and cleanup.
• Material Handling: Load and unload roofing materials, tools, and equipment at the job site using proper lifting techniques and safety protocols.
• Site Preparation: Prepare the work area by removing debris, clearing obstacles, and ensuring that the site is safe and accessible for roofing activities.
• Equipment Operation: Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment as directed by the roofing crew, following all safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures on the job site, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and fall protection gear.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to complete roofing projects efficiently and effectively.
• Quality Assurance: Assist with quality control inspections to ensure that roofing installations meet industry standards and client expectations.
• Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work environment by collecting and disposing of debris, excess materials, and waste throughout the project.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working at heights.
• Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of basic safety practices and procedures in a construction environment, with a focus on preventing accidents and injuries.
