Job summary

Miller & Miller Inc in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Commercial Construction Laborer with 1 year of commercial experience or 3 years of residential experience to join our field team.

You will perform physical labor on commercial/industrial projects, operate hand and power tools, and help prepare sites while supporting craft workers. Adherence to safety protocols and a drug-free environment is required; transportation to sites is necessary. Wage is negotiated, starting at $16.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1 year commercial construction laborer experience or 3 years residential construction experience preferred.
• Must adhere to safety protocol and work in a drug-free environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks involving physical labor at commercial or industrial construction projects.
• May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments.
• May clean and prepare sites, assist craft workers on interior construction tasks, clean up rubble and debris.
• May assist other craft workers. Extended periods of standing, walking and lifting up to 50 lbs.
