Overview

Looking for an opportunity to make a difference? We're seeking a Laborer to join our team and help connect America. The Laborer will perform general labor duties related to telecommunications construction under the guidance of the Foreman/Supervisor. Responsibilities include all phases of underground construction, such as loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal, and placement of various construction materials and equipment.

What you'll do...

• Use hand shovels and mechanical tools for digging
• Install and maintain underground telecommunications cabling
• Climb in and out of equipment such as trucks, backhoes, trenchers
• Operate or work around heavy machinery and equipment
• Work in congested or remote areas
• Maintain visual and audible contact with crew members and moving objects for safety
• Perform general construction work under supervision
• Follow all safety regulations and procedures

Who we are looking for...

• You are at least 18 years old
• You are authorized to work in the United States
• You possess a valid Driver's License or Class A Commercial Driver's License
• You have basic knowledge of and ability to operate utility trucks and tools safely
• Experience in utility construction is preferred
• Ability to read prints and interpret utility maps
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed
• Willingness to work overtime, after hours, weekends, or on-call
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
