Overview

Looking for an opportunity to make a difference? Join our team as a Laborer and help connect America. The Laborer will perform general labor duties related to telecommunications construction under the supervision of the Foreman/Supervisor. Responsibilities include all phases of underground construction, such as loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal, and placement of various construction materials and equipment.

What you'll do...

• Dig using hand shovels and mechanical tools
• Install and maintain underground telecommunications cabling
• Climb in and out of equipment such as trucks, backhoes, trenchers, etc.
• Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery
• Work in congested or remote areas
• Maintain visual and audible contact with crew members and ensure safe coordination of movement
• Perform general construction work under supervision
• Maintain safe working habits according to regulations and policies

Who we are looking for...

• You are at least 18 years old
• You are authorized to work in the United States
• You possess a valid Driver's License or Class A Commercial Driver's License
• You have basic knowledge and ability to operate utility trucks and equipment safely
• You have basic skills with hand tools and equipment
• Experience in utility construction is a plus
• You can read prints and interpret utility maps
• You communicate effectively with customers and team members
• You can lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed
• You are able to work overtime, after hours, weekends, and on-call for emergencies
• You maintain a safe work environment and can work in all weather conditions
