Looking for an opportunity to make a difference? We're seeking a Laborer to join our team and help connect America. The Laborer will perform general labor duties related to telecommunications construction under the supervision of the Foreman or Supervisor. Responsibilities include various phases of underground construction such as loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal, and placement of different construction materials and equipment.

What you'll do...

• Dig using hand shovels and mechanical tools
• Install and maintain underground telecommunications cabling
• Climb in and out of equipment such as trucks, backhoes, trenchers, etc.
• Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery
• Work in congested or remote areas
• Maintain visual and audible contact with crew members and ensure safe coordination of movement
• Perform general construction work under supervision
• Maintain safe working habits according to all regulations, procedures, and policies

Who we are looking for...

• At least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid standard Driver's License or Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Basic knowledge of and ability to operate utility trucks and equipment safely
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and equipment
• Experience in utility construction (preferred)
• Ability to read prints and interpret utility maps
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed
• Availability for overtime, after-hours, weekends, emergencies, or on-call work
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and maintain a safe work environment
