Job summary

Stella-Jones is a leading manufacturer of essential infrastructure products focused on serving utilities and railroads, as well as supplying big box home improvement stores across North America. This Laborer role supports manufacturing activities by performing duties such as assembling hardware onto crossarms with power tools and operating banding equipment.

Candidates must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Reasonable accommodation may be made.

Laborer assists with manufacturing activities by performing the following duties:

• Assemble hardware onto crossarms with power tools.
• Set sticks in hoppers for sticker stacker machine.
• Operate banding equipment.
• Cut dunnage with saw.
• Assist in cleaning work areas, maintaining property, plant and equipment.
• Compiling customer kits for shipping.
• Participates and contributes to company safety program.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Requires standing for long periods of time and the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
