Job Opportunity: Recycling Plant Sorter in Ocean City, New Jersey

Atlantic Coast Recycling, a Waste Connections company, is seeking a Recycling Plant Sorter in Ocean City, New Jersey.

Pay: $16.00 per hour with overtime

Hours: Monday - Friday

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate plant equipment safely, including conveyors and bailers.
• Sort recycling materials efficiently.
• Ensure incoming loads are safe and free from inappropriate materials.
• Perform clerical and general office duties as needed, including filing and paperwork.
• Maintain safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintain the general upkeep of the plant.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrating tact, discretion, and diplomacy.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to stand for 10+ hours per day.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.
