Job summary

Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) at Fort Hood, TX seeks a Laborer to perform physical tasks with little specialized skill. You will load/unload trucks, move supplies, and prepare materials as described.

The role requires lifting 50 pounds, passing a pre-employment drug test and background check, and obtaining CAC. Work may include overtime, exposure to heat, dust, and inclement weather. Pay is hourly and includes fringe benefits, with night differential up to 10%.

Qualifications

  • Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
  • Ability to receive a favorable Tier-1 Investigation and obtain/maintain a CAC.
  • Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching.

The Laborer performs tasks that require mainly physical abilities and effort involving little or no specialized skill or prior work experience.

Pay & Benefits:

  • Hourly Compensation: $20.97
  • Hourly H&W Fringe: $5.09
  • Differential pay for night shift work will range from $1 up to 10% of base hourly rate
