The City of Rahway, Department of Public Works, is recruiting Seasonal Laborer 1 personnel (April - December), with potential for full-time employment based on performance and available positions. Hours are Monday to Friday, 6 am - 1:30 pm or 7 am - 2:30 pm. Duties include routine labor tasks such as cleaning, maintenance of public properties, grass cutting, snow removal, recycling, and waste collection, among others outlined in the Civil Service Commission title Laborer 1 (https://info.csc.state.nj.us/jobspec/02248.htm). Qualifications include the ability to follow directions (oral and written) and to lift heavy objects under varying weather conditions.
