The City of Rahway, Department of Public Works is recruiting Seasonal Laborer 1 personnel (April - December) with potential for full-time employment based on performance and available positions. Hours are Mon - Fri, 6 am - 1:30 pm or 7 am - 2:30 pm. Duties include routine labor tasks such as cleaning, maintenance of public properties, grass cutting, snow removal, recycling, waste collection, and other duties outlined in the Civil Service Commission title Laborer 1. Job qualifications include following oral and written directions and the ability to lift heavy objects under varying weather conditions.
