Job Summary

The Laborer 1 supports the Golf Course Superintendent and maintenance team in performing basic groundskeeping and golf course maintenance tasks. This entry-level position is designed for individuals with limited experience, providing hands-on training in turf management, equipment operation, and general course upkeep. The Laborer 1 assists with daily maintenance activities to ensure the golf course remains in excellent condition for members and guests, while gaining practical skills and experience in golf course operations.

  • Assist the Golf Course Superintendent and maintenance staff with basic turf management tasks, including mowing, trimming, fertilization, and watering.

  • Perform general groundskeeping tasks, such as raking, debris removal, and cleanup of maintenance areas.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining equipment and supplies for daily operations and special events.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and work cooperatively with the maintenance team.
  • Adhere to all safety, environmental, and operational procedures.

  • Professional appearance, adherence to safety protocols, and compliance with club standards required at all times.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the golf course and maintenance areas for extended periods.
