Job summary

Imerys Great Lakes is seeking a Laborer to support daily plant operations in Wurtland, KY. You will perform a variety of physical duties, help maintain safety standards, and assist with packaging, cleaning, and basic warehouse tasks.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires reading and following instructions, effective communication with coworkers, and adherence to shift schedules in an industrial setting.

Laborer

Business Group/Division/Company: Imerys Great Lakes, The Laborer position is responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations at the plant. The duties vary day to day depending on the needs of operations.

• Performs various physical duties as assigned
• Maintain all safety standards
• Cleaning up spills and broken bags
• Sweeping
• Shoveling
• Brooming
• Using vacuums
• Bar code scanning
• Packaging

• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Attention to detail and staying alert at all times to ensure safety
• Able to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers

Job Specifications
