Job summary

Imerys in Andersonville, GA is seeking a Mobile Crusher/Excavator Operator to contribute to supplying quality raw material feed blends for production. Under direct supervision, you will feed materials into mobile crushing units, conduct inspections, and assist with stockpile management; occasional weather-driven task rotations may occur.

Responsibilities

• Feed raw blend into mobile crushing units.
• Receive raw material for plant stockpiles and keep materials pushed up and stockpile area organized.
• Perform work area inspections and mobile equipment inspections prior to operation; collect raw ore samples as needed; maintain records; keep equipment clean.
• Assist with clay shed record keeping, oiling, greasing, and cleaning mobile equipment; perform other tasks as assigned by the Ore Feed Supervisor.
• Operate other equipment or assist with inner-plant duties or office duties as needed during inclement weather.

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Ore Feed Supervisor. The Mobile Crusher/Excavator Operator will contribute to the success of supplying quality raw material feed blends to the plants for production of finished product. The Mobile Crusher/Excavator Operator is responsible for feeding the raw blend or individual crude piles into the mobile crushing unit. During inclement weather, the operator could be assigned to other equipment operator tasks.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Feed raw blend /crude piles into mobile crushing units.
• Receive raw material for plant stockpiles keeping the materials pushed up and stockpile area in an organized manner.
• Duties also include performing work area inspections and mobile equipment inspections prior to operation, collecting raw ore samples as needed, clay shed record keeping, oil, grease and clean mobile equipment used in performing duties and performing any other task as assigned by the Ore Feed Supervisor.
• Operating other equipment, being assigned inner-plant duties or being assigned certain office duties are possible during inclement weather.

  Environment

  While performing the duties of this job; the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, dusty conditions, high noise, outside weather in all conditions and materials used in the process. Frequent walking, standing, and sitting with exposure to all seasonal climatic conditions. Occasionally lifting, carrying, and/or pulling objects up to 50 lbs. Approximately 100% operating heavy equipment in outdoor environments.
