Job summary

EPC Inc in Wright City, MO is hiring for an IT asset disposition role beginning at $15.45 per hour. You will safely disassemble IT devices, sort components for resale or recycling, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

The position involves manual tasks, use of tools, and lifting up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation. Join a team focused on secure, sustainable IT disposal and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds.
• Experience or ability to learn to safely use power tools and pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Safely disassemble a wide range of IT equipment (computers, monitors, servers, printers, networking devices).
• Sort and categorize components for resale, refurbishment, recycling, or disposal.
• Remove and properly dispose of hazardous materials (batteries, CRT monitors) per regulations.
• Use battery-operated power drill and other tools for end-of-life asset disassembly.
• Unload and transport IT equipment using a pallet jack.
• Identify and segregate materials from conveyor lines and maintain safety protocols.
• Daily housekeeping and general department cleanliness.

Brief Summary of Duties

• Safely handle and disassemble a wide range of IT equipment, such as computers, monitors, servers, printers, and networking devices.
• Sort and categorize components for resale, refurbishment, recycling, or disposal.
• Remove and properly dispose of hazardous materials, including batteries and CRT monitors, per environmental regulations.
• Using battery operated power drill, non -battery operated tools, including a heating plate to hand disassemble end of life electronic assets.
• Unload and transport IT equipment using pallet jack.
• Find and segregate materials off fast moving conveyor lines.
• Adhering to all safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for everyone in the facility.
• Daily housekeeping and cleaning of department and workstation.
• Other duties as assigned by department.

Experience and/or Education Requirements

• Prior experience or ability to learn to safely use power tools and pallet jack.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the day in a standing position.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately.
• Includes sitting, standing, bending, twisting, and the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Experience and/or Education Preferred

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic understanding of electronic devices and components.
• Prior experience in warehouse or electronic equipment dismantling, IT asset disposition, or related fields.
• Familiarity with IT equipment, data destruction techniques, and recycling protocols is a plus
